Public beta

Public beta information

What works today, what can go wrong, and what to check while No Fluff Dinner is in public beta.

No Fluff Dinner is ready for real dinner planning, but it is still a beta. The label is a useful warning, not decorative garnish: imports and AI output need a quick human check.

What you can do today

  • Search for recipes or paste a public recipe URL.
  • Import supported pages into a clean, attributed recipe card.
  • Generate a recipe or build one around ingredients you have.
  • Add recipes to Meal Plan, combine a grocery checklist, scale servings, and print the plan.
  • Reopen recent cards saved in this browser.

Known limitations

  • Not every publisher or recipe URL can be imported. Pages can block automated requests, change their markup, require login, or omit enough structured recipe information.
  • Imports can miss or misread ingredients, quantities, serving sizes, timing, or instructions. AI-generated recipes can be incomplete or wrong.
  • Recent recipes and Meal Plan data live in this browser. There are no accounts or cross-device sync, and clearing site data removes that local history.
  • Search, generation, analytics, and imports depend on external services and publisher sites, so availability and results can change.
  • Features, limits, wording, and stored data formats may change during the beta.

The cook is the final check

Always verify ingredients, allergens, quantities, food-safety instructions, cooking temperatures, and doneness before cooking or serving.

Help improve the beta

Use the in-product Report a problem action for a failed import, incomplete recipe, confusing result, Meal Plan, grocery-list, or export problem. It needs no account and adds safe diagnostic context automatically. For general feedback or a privacy request, visit the Contact and feedback page. The Privacy page explains current report storage, analytics, and provider behavior.
