About No Fluff Dinner
A calm cooking utility for turning recipe links and dinner ideas into usable plans without the recipe-blog detour.
Turn recipe links and dinner ideas into clean recipe cards, a meal plan, and one grocery list.
What it does
- Searches the web for a recipe or imports a public recipe URL.
- Turns usable source material into a clean, attributed recipe card.
- Generates a starting-point recipe when you intentionally ask the AI to create one.
- Collects recipes in your Meal Plan and builds one grocery checklist for the plan.
- Prints individual cards or the plan as a practical packet.
Why it exists
Recipe sites are great places to publish. They are not always the calmest tools to cook from. No Fluff Dinner keeps the useful parts close: ingredients, instructions, a source link, a plan, and a grocery list. The aim is less tab juggling and more dinner.
Source-first by design
Imported recipes remain the work of their publishers and authors. Cards preserve the source name and link, and exports keep that attribution visible. No Fluff Dinner is a cooking utility, not a recipe publisher and not a replacement for the original source.
Built in public beta
The beta is intentionally small, account-free, and local-first for saved recipe cards and meal plans. Imports and generated recipes still need human review, and some publishers will not work. Read the current beta expectations or send feedback.
